As we get back into Matthew this Fall, we see Jesus living in our place as our perfect Messiah. His perfect life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection points to the fact that as our covenant head he has gone before us and faced our greatest enemies so we can rest in his victory, love, and power. How comforting it is to know that his comforting presence and victorious strength is always with us, which is why I think this new song by Matt Boswell, Matt Papa, and the Gettys will serve our church well.
