“Care Group Boot Camp” ABF Summary and Audio

Week 1 (no audio): Priority: Because we believe in the value of community, we agree to give priority to our group meetings. If we are running late, we will call ahead. Hebrews 10:24-25, Matthew 18:19-20, Psalm 133

Week 2: Confidentiality: We agree that whatever is shared here stays here unless permission is asked. This includes what is shared through phone calls, e-mails, etc. We want this group to be a safe place to grow. Gal 6:1-2, Matthew 7:9-12

Week 3 (no audio): Participation: We agree to encourage, support, and stand behind one another, choosing to see ourselves linked together. Ephesians 4:15-16, Acts 2:42-47, Romans 15:1-7

Week 4 (no audio): Accessibility: We agree to give one another the right to call in times of need and be cognizant of how we can meet the needs of others in the group as we are so led by the Spirit. Acts 2:42-47, John 13:34-35, 1 John 4:11-21

Week 5 (no audio): Openness: We will seek to be open and honest with each other. Our small group is a place where we can take off our masks, be ourselves, and be open to receiving accountability. Hebrews 3:12-14, James 5:16-20

Week 6: Respect: We agree to communicate in ways that are respectful, and to give advice only when it is requested. We will strive to be available to one another to listen, encourage, support, and tell the truth in loving ways. (Gal 6:1-5)
